About Us

KTW Construction Inc. (General Contractor) was incorporated June 6, 2006 and has not looked back since. Dan Andreassen, sole owner, always dreamed of having a construction company, in fact his grade 12 year book reads “Dan wants to have a construction company and become a millionaire.” At least one of those two things has come true. The company started when construction was at its peak. Customers, mainly School Districts, required an honest and knowledgeable contractor to perform various types of work from renovations to new construction. Architects also required the same characteristics from a company and KTW Construction Inc. was happy to earn their respect. The company has currently done over $15,000,000 worth of work since it first started, and continues to grow with new and exciting partners. KTW has had the pleasure of working with Starbucks doing both renovations and the construction of new stores. In July of 2010, we were very proud to secure a contract with Starbucks, and are currently working on serveral projects for them. KTW Construction Inc. can provide owners with confidence that their project will be done right and that all details will be looked after.

Our People

Dan Andreassen
, owner of KTW, grew up with a European father who instilled a hard work ethic and quality craftsmanship. After graduating from high school Dan went directly to B.C.I.T. and graduated in the Civil & Structural Technology program with honors. Since then Dan has worked for many firms acquiring and honing skills that he uses today.

Dan’s big break came in May of 1998 when he was hired by the Pacific Group of Companies to run a General Contracting firm. With Dan in charge, the company grew and was profitable. As Dan became more confident he decided to go out on his own, the rest they say is history. Dan treats all owners, architects, consultants and sub trades with mutual respect, and in return acquires repeat business.

Denis Cherniwchan, Site Supervisor, has been with KTW Construction Inc. since the doors opened for business in 2006 and has worked with Dan previously at another construction company for 5 years. Denis is extremely dedicated and loyal and would give the shirt off his back. These attributes make him an excellent supervisor for both KTW and its Clients. Denis often goes over and above to ensure Clients and Consultants are happy. With over 30 years of experience in construction there is not much Denis has not seen.

Sean Leitch, Office Manager has known Dan for 10 years and looks after the office management duties. He strives to make everything just right in his day to day activities and is excellent with KTW’s accounting software and excel spreadsheets. Dan and Sean work well together and having Sean around improves the moral in the office.

Chris Brown, Site Supervisor, is the newest addition to KTW Construction Inc. Dan has known Chris for 10 years and in fact hired Chris to frame his home 10 years ago. This was the start of a working relationship that would come full circle. Chris had his own company and Dan required his services from time to time. After Chris sold his company Dan approached Chris to come and work for him. Chris is somewhat like the “Holmes on Home” guy and will not cut corners when working on projects. Any Clients, Architects or Subtrades that are lucky enough to have Chris on the project will not be disappointed.
